Breeding local farm animals

We are holistically managing local farm animals that are close to extinction. A Garrano female horse, Bordaleira sheep, Serrana goats and Pedrês chickens.

Planting local varieties of fruit trees and bushes
​
We are fixing the old irrigation systems and making swalles and ponds in order to plant local varieties of fruit trees and bushes in a polycrop system like:
-Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Almonds, Citrus, Peaches, Plums, Apples, Pears, Currants, Raspberrys, Blueberry, Blackberry, etc...

Wild Life Reserve
​
Since we are inside a Natural Park we decided to dedicate half of our land (6ha) to wild life. With minimum interventions we intend to plant local trees and bushes like:
-Yew, Heather, Alder, Viburnum, Poplar, Ginkgo, Oak, Hawthorn, Acer, Cypress, Pine, Linden, Juniper, Holly, Birch, etc...
